floyd my fave fight ever but no excuses for not fighting canelo @ 154 none!!!

Im a Floyd fan more in the ring than him out but no one should be able to defend this, if he just went to 154 once for the Hoya fight then fair enough but to go there again out of choice against Cotto like 2 fights ago and say all that stuff about making him comfortable then telling Alvarez to come down to 147 is a joke

I know Alvarez will outweigh him by alot but Alvarez's stamina is terrible because of it, at least make it so Alvarez cant come in more than 164-165, im sure with a strength and conditioning coach he could do that

 

It doesn't really matter to me. If he comes out and says that he wants to say at 147 then he better clean out the division when those five fights are up. If he decides to fight Canelo then more power to him. I don't think he should keep moving up and down in weight though.

I would cut him a break if immediately after cotto he stated he isent happy about the weight and how he performs and that its no the division for him (which is true if uv seen him perform there and couple that with the fact he comes tonthe ring at a measly 151 (140 fighters on ringnight weigh more)

Honestly not only do i think mayweather would win but i feel he will take this fight in sep or maybe may next year...

Ur right. Mayweather has no big options at 147 an its not like bak in his 1 fight a year long layoff days where he could wait for a fighter to make a big impact and earn a shot at maywether


He has to fight in sept.. If he fights canelo and beats him he easily lands in top 20 goat for me...

I agree, however we can't say anything or judge until we here an official announcement. I usually dont believe Schaefer but i dont believe weight would be an issue and it really shouldnt after Floyd constantly sh*tted on Pacquiao for bringing Cotto down. The only problem I see is Canelo asking for alot of money.

 

Void had no problem fighting Cotto at 154, so why not Alvarez? Void refused to fight Pac, still does, Void refused to fight Paul Williams, Void refused to fight Martinez at 150, instead Void fights a featherweight..........
