Locket seems to be a fan of waiving the white towel. if he were to do that in a fight with Lucas, it would confuse him for a split second giving Locket the chance to hit him with his ATG jab and knock him clean out.

i agree with the poster who said that Pavlik was too scared to give the rematch to Locket. just as Locket was starting to grind Pavlik down in the fight, they went and stopped it. Pavlik was real lucky. they don't call Gary the "rocket" for nothing you know.

 

Enzo was out of his mind throwing that towel in.. Gary was just getting started..

LOL Pavlik Destroyed him. Lockett was also a middleweight for years. He just was never A grade. or even B grade for that matter.

 

Gary tries too hard with his legendary staredown and craps his trunks. La Maquina Matthysse smells a wiff of Gary's crap and gets seizure from it, requiring medical attention. Gary, being the great champion he is, visits Lucas at the hospital and tells him "One day you will be great like me."

even Pavlik himself knew that if "the GARY" didn't get pulled out of there when he did, he would have lost the middleweight championship.

Enzo Calzaghe knew he was on his way to ko'ing Pavlik too. The only motivation I can think of for Enzo stopping the fight is that he wanted his son Joe to have a future opponent

 

Lucas would **** himself at the staredown.
