after watching this again i was surprised at this fight for its lack of clean action, it was a good fight fought in a great atmosphere but not by any means brutal or a classic, im hoping the 2nd fight will be a lot better. sky have to promote the living daylights out of this so fair enough they need it to be a success so i understand the need to go ott. just a real shame the undercard is terrible

Exactly the phrase I would use.

Wild swings and clubs, a good atmosphere but not the classic many called it imo

They're selling the fight. Not to us, but the casuals.

The 1st fight is way overhyped anyway , it was a good fight between 2 of the best supermiddles...it wasnt Morales v Barrera.

How in the **** it got voted above Marquez v Diaz in the 100 greatest fights of all time really bugged me.

    Spot on Oli.
I'm a self confessed Froch nuthuggers, but that fight is horribly overrated.
The main thing that sticks with me is the mistakes Froch made and his refusal to listen to Rob.

i see eddie hearn has been labelling it fight of the century

    what a ****ing ****

i know he is trying to trick the casuals into buying but after the fight the casuals will feel pissed off and a bit robbed and it hurts the sport

fight of the decade what a twat, the first one wasnt even FOTY, it was exciting but it lacked finesse and class, it was like watching 2 amateur sluggers at times
