Yes, there's a common misconception where people seem to believe that Size and strength are the most important attributes. Of course they can give Wlad an advantage, but at the same time, he can also be at a disadvantage.

Skills and speed can overcome a disadvantage in size and strength.

    Wlad was stronger than Ali.

    He was more powerful.

But how could he have dealt with Ali's footwork and handspeed?

    Wlad has got poor footwork.

    He's not fast.

He's quite methodical and doesn't throw punches in bunches.

Lets do a head to head between Wlad and a peak Ali.

    Power
    Jab
    Footwork
    Timing
    Hand speed
    Combination punches
    Reflexes
    Defence
    Chin
    Heart
    Strength

    Yes.

As a fan of both Klitschkos, I found the posts of Glover and his buddies (or alts) cringeworthy. I have concluded he is a troll.

He is possibly a Klitscho hater in the mould of Shanster or the late Fighting Weight, who is out to discredit Wlad by attempting to paint his fans as ignorant no-nothings.

Then again, maybe he is just an ignorant no-nothing.:yep

Give me you're opinion on the head to head breakdown, and then give me Wlad's best wins.

I hope for his own sake, that he's just trolling and having fun.

    The evidence points that way.

No one with even the faintest familiarity with the sport would describe Ali as a feather-fisted punching bag, Byrd as a modern version of Ali, Patterson and Liston and all of their opponents as bums, not to mention the loads of other nonsense he's posted.

Initially, I took him to be some kid, new to the game, who thought the world began with Tyson.

Now I think he's probably an alt of some regular here, having a bit of fun with troll threads. He gives himself away though, with the near-transparent tongue-in-cheek nature of some of his statements.

Still think he might be one of those posters who regularly troll Klitschko fans.

    Maybe Shaunster ?

Geroge Best and Matthew le Tissier would be priceless if they were around today.
They only training they did was on the pitch and their diet consisted of larger and junk food.
Peter Schmeichel displayed talent that hasn't been seen since. He wouldn't be afforadable if he was around today.

The machinery that we have today didn't exsit back in the old days when fighters were naturally strong and fit from an upbringing of manual labour..They were hard as nails before they even stepped into a boxing gym.
Combine that with tutulage from the best trainers that ever lived and you have the ATG's that still hold the candle to this day.

Wladimir kLITSCHKO couldn't handle a battle of attrition for more than ten seconds against Sanders and more than 4 rounds against Brewster.

Ali used endure for 15 full hard rounds what Wlad couldn't endure for more than two.
Its not even competative. Wlad can not tie down Ali with 1-2 straight punches from a distance. He gets picked apart from all angles in conbiniation, looking like a lost puppy in the process.

    You're so right !

I just realized how wrong I've been.

Thank you Glover for lifting the veil from my eyes, I can see clearly now.

Too bad we couldn't transport Tyson Fury or Sugar Nick back to the 60s, 70s or 80s. Men that size would really have cleaned out the division.

From now on, I'll pay much attention to your theses.

Have you ever thought of writing on boxing professionally ?

Maybe RING or Boxing News ?

    Maybe a book ?

Ha! Yes, he needs to be a little more subtle.

He's got a long way to go, until he can be as good as someone like MVC.

MVC - "Floyd had a traumatic life changing experience in prison. He was locked in a cell all day, and did hundreds of push ups and sit ups to pass the time. Also, they only gave him 800 calories worth of food to eat per day."

    Ha!

Yeah, what was said about Pele and Maradona was even funnier than the boxing comments.
