    ??????

Was it that he had a DEFENSIVE Style, which limited the punishment he took, allowing him to fight on longer????

    JMM had sucess at 135, 140 (kinda) & 147

Morales & MAB never did anything above 130,

Naw JMM just feasted on C class fighters and has been matched carefully even his cherry picks vs Pacquaio, and also he ducked slick black fighters which has been the Mexicans achilles heels , people want to **** on people like Mayweather Garcia and Alexander resume and their selective matchmaking but those fighters resume's **** all over JMM, but no chirps about him

It was slightly down to a defensive style, but mostly down to Pacquiao. He could fight Pacquiao at middleweight and be equally matched. Wouldn't make him a successful middleweight though, at least in my eyes.

In Morales case he was in way too many wars at the lighterweights and by the time it came for him to be able to jump up in weight his body could not handle the punishment anymore, he was successful against Maidana oddly enough but just couldn't get in the shape needed and take the shots anymore.

Early in JMM's career he was extremely defensive and rarely took punishment. As he has moved up in weight his offensive skills have come to light. He took care of himself early in his career so can be more successful

Marquez is slightly bigger than they are and didn't wait until he was shot to move up.

Morales and Barrera had been through wars and were ATGs before Marquez even got started.

JMM has arguably taken on his greatest challenges and has certainly taken greater punishment as he's moved up in weight... Pacquiao twice at higher weights, Mayweather, Diaz 2x, Casamayor, Katsidis, old Barrera.

He's taken some beatings but he has proven to be more durable than both.

For starters Marquez is the BIGGER man. He began his career at 126

Marquez is naturally bigger & thicker framed than the other 2 gentlemen. And he's more stylistically suited for fighting at an advanced age. HOWEVER when he fights down to the level of his opponent and engages in unneccessary warfare, such as he did against Diaz & Katsidas. He looks every bit his age.

Plus, most of the guys that he's fought in the higher weight classes are more or less the same size, and originally descend from around the vacinity of his natural weight class.

Bradley will be far & away the biggest & strongest opponent he's faced to date.

His style. He's bigger more of a counter-puncher uses educated footwork and more of a thinker than the other two.

Morales beat Madiana stopped Cano(who went 12 full rounds with Mosley) and you can make a case with Gracia, Barrera was the only one that didn't do crap above 130, That's why I have them like these when ranking these three atgs together, Marquez>Morales>Barrera.:deal

Bradley was out of shape for the Provodnikov fight. He came in at 159 and looked sluggish. If he comes in that heavy, Marquez is getting a highlight reel KO. A peak Bradley will come in at 150 or so and be in tremendous shape. Anything else, and Marquez wins easy.

I cant forgive him for the fights he ducked from 135-147 over and over, he feasted on 2nd tier talent while never being called out for his shenanigans .......................
