    Agreed.

Don't see why people believe this is such a ridiculous notion.

Agreed. But with Virgil Hunter and a gameplan built on being cautious and methodical, I don't think a Khan victory is so far fetched.

The skill set is definitely there, though.

As usual, whenever Dwyer makes a wrong pick he automatically hates on the winner. Khan would get knocked out in two rounds tops against Matthysse. Anyone with half a brain would know this.

That what folks said around here before the Maidana fight, too.

except Lucas won those fights he was "outboxed" in and hurt both of them numerous times while he himself was never even buzzed let alone marked up.

it should also be noted Matthysse is substantially more aggressive today then when he fought Judah/Alexander. He even made a comment how those fights taught him to be more aggressive.

Dwyer is the Reggie Jackson of youtube boxing shows. He eather hits it out of the park, or strikes out. This one he strikes out.

They were close fights. Whether you think LM won is irrelevant, as both fighters (Judah, Alexander) took rounds off him with hand speed, selective aggression, occasion movement. IMO, Khan is capable of doing that.

And a fighter could easily get outboxed without getting buzzed.

    Again, just my thoughts. YMMV.

Indeed they did and I picked Khan to beat him and laughed off at people that gave Maidana a chance. Maidana was a one dimensional overly wide plodder who was proven a joke when an ancient Morales gave him a schooling. All he had a wide puncher's chance and when he finally landed it he couldn't follow up to save his ass. Matthysse is a far better fighter than Maidana, sure he's wild too but he's not as wild and totally reckless as Maidana. Matthysse actually has some ability. That said, Khan at the moment is more vulnerable than ever. Just watch what Diaz did to him and Diaz doesn't have Matthysse power nor finishing skills. This is why a fight with Matthysse nor a rematch with Garcia will ever happen. It might happen after Khan is carefully moved to a big money fight with Mayweather. After that, any fight could happen since there's nothing to protect him for.

Seriously?, I would say Kotelnik, Judah and Malignaggi definitely qualify as such. All world class fighters.

If Khan had any kind of defense, he could beat the living **** out of Lucas. That being said, he has no defense and Lucas KO's him within 5.

if Khan could go 12 rounds without being tagged by Lucas, i'm sure this fight would of been made already

but the brutal truth about Khan is that he would not be able to withstand Lucas' power, the first cleanly landed left hook would put him on ***** street until the post-fight presser ends
