Thats not a fact at all. Lewis wanted out of boxing Pre Tyson. He hung around whilst making his mind up which is nowhere near as bad as fighting scrubs like the Klits regularly do. In effect Vitali is already retired as he wont fight the best contenders and that stoppage against charr was by his own doctor after an illegal thumb job.

    guy Oleg Maskaev KTFO...

Vitali Klitschko - Had a defence to make of his newly won title he got by battering an old semi-pro golfer, Corrie Sanders. Decided in his first defence to really put on a show, prove he was 'REAL CHAMPION' and took on 57th ranked in the world Danny Williams, when John Ruiz was free (and a title holder, and ranked top 5 in all 18 organisations, including GQ Magazines "Greatest guys in sports"). Pissed off that Klitschko had decided to go with Danny Williams, John Ruiz signed to fight Golota, one of the toughest men ever and ranked #3 in the world, behind John Ruiz and John Ruiz's shadow. John Ruiz beat him.

And Ruiz beat Holyfield in his second fight way more decisively than Lewis did in the second Holyfield fight. (Ruiz even nearly KOd Holy)
    What's your point?

No, in actuality it wasn't. Tyson was ranked #2 by "The Ring" and #1 by the WBC. Williams want rated by "The Ring" or in the WBC top 10. In fact he was the same guy who had already lost to julius Francis.

Tyson was overrated and Danny Williams proved it by demolishing him in 4. Lewis was notorious for ducking dangerous competition before Vitali finally retired him.

I agree he was overrated at that point in his career, but he was still a better win for Lewis than Williams was for Vittles. Its funny you argue about Vits being up on the cards 4-2 at the time of the stoppage but have not yet acknowledged Tyson being up 3-0 before suffering ligament damage in his knee and being unable to continue. Just another klitard double standard, huh? :yep
