I feel he is looking sharper at the lower weight PK, how come you think he should be heavier?

Audley has a chance in this fight if he uses his tools correctly and does not freeze.

If he freezes he will be KO'd within 1 round.

Look at his physique against Price, and then look at his physique in Prize Fighter! Its muscle he has been loosing, and when you lose muscle this means one thing..? You are seriously depleted. If he is wearing a sweat suit training, it deplete unnatural amounts of minerals, minerals help your body make proteins, proteins repair muscle! Every cell in your human body needs minerals, in order to work. And this..? is just 1 of many reasons why sweat suits are completely ******ed.

He was in shape against Price! Solid and lean. He was probably starting to implement his new training then..? There is something i don't like about this new Harrison!

He was even in shape against Haye! When Fighters dramatically lose allot of weight! It suggests they have made dramatic changes in training! and maybe nutrition. And i think this is what he has done! And i think the changes have been ******ed.

"The reason why Harrison freezes is because he goes into fights with HOPE, not with calculations from training, that tell him..? hey i can do this. All the best fighters are calculated, training is where you learn what you can actually do".

This was the time in his career when Harrison needed to be calculating, but..? I think he has abandoned all logic and in his own words..? Is taking a risk.

"A risk is something you are not prepared for!" That is the definition of a risk!

Yeah but if he wins it catapults him in with the big boys, then his destiny is in sights... He cant keep having fights this is his last chance if he cant beat Wilder he should retire...
I think this fight is good for Audley, I think Audley wins this one.. Keep the faith..

I'm not saying it will make a huge difference but in 12 months he will likely be slightly slower, weaker etc given his age. I also don't really see what he stands to gain from beating up a couple more lower tier heavyweights, he's already beaten 3 this year.

The Wilder fight is too big an opportunity to pass up at this stage of his career.

Audley Harrison's greatest achievement is not any of his wins or winning the European title hampered with a injury, its not winning the countries first boxing Olympic Gold medal for 32 years. It has been his ability to install people with Hope. Nobody who is governed by logic, these past few years would back Audley Harrison against World level opponents and with conviction state...."Audley Harrison is going to win, because of X..Y..and Z"...and then 100% believe what they say. Almost 100% of the people who say things like this are, trying to convince themselves and hoping, it is faith in which Auldey Harrison has installed. These days in sport, most people only support who's winning, who's popular, who's mainstream. But that kind of support is thickly, it can disappear over night, it can become a critic in a instant, disown you over a mere mistake. The type of support i have for Audley Harrison is real, it's no longer based on physics or logical thought. Its based on faith and hope, Audley Harrison makes you want to believe, hope is mankind's greatest strength but greatest delusion and weakness at times.

This weekend, i will be hoping he can win. I have little expectations, all that is left now is faith and hope. And all the long time Audley Harrison fans, if they have stuck the cause..? Will be at this stage aswell.

Logically Audley Harrison could honestly be knocked out within 2 mins, but that's not how we role in this thread. Its not about stats, odds, who the ****ing casual fans are wanking over, it's about hope.

Feel sorry for Harrison, he shoulda gone a different route like fight someone like Travis Walker, Tony Thompson, stylewise he has a chance against guys like that
He keeps picking the worst style match ups for him

He's lucky he's got another opportunity tbh.
Fighting against Americas top HW prospect, in the most talked about fight on the bill
    Here's hoping he takes it.

Completely agree, I compared it to when Byrd drained to LHW, he just lost muscle mass, it also destroyed his punch resistance. He's not even a Super Heavy anymore.

Exactly, we are seeing a extremely fragile Audley Harrison. He trained extremely hard for David Haye, and was weighing in at 252 pounds. I am sorry..? How do you go from 252-246, to 236..? Without changing something dramatically in your nutritional intake or training methods. I saw Audley Harrison promoting sweat suits, and automatically thought to myself..? what on earth is this man doing. I believe he is physically weakened, you might get afew smart asses on here saying..? blah blah, he cannot take a punch. Audley Harrison may not have the best punch resistance in the game, but he has never been this fragile in my opinion. Even up against David Haye, he was hit by a 6-7-8 punches before he went down, and he beat the count and went on to get stopped on his feet. Derek Chisora a so called notorious tough heavyweight, was decked off one Hayemaker and afew more took him down once again.

It was a timed Hayemaker which started the end for Harrison up against Haye, and he did not dive to the fall like Chisora.

Note: I am extremely disappointed with Audley Harrison's mistakes he is making in training, and nutrition: By the looks of it. If he has desided to carry on, i honestly feel and hope somebody like David Haye's strength and condition coach would help him out but..? knowing Audley Harrison with his Sport Science & Business management degree, he like's to do things his own way.

I will continue to support him but..? If i ever came face to face with Audley Harrison, and had no choice to speak to him..? I would shake his hand, and then tell him where i think he is going wrong and why, and i would try to point him in the right direction.

If this man is going to carry on, at-least lets be safe about it and smart.

He should be fully aware of what he is doing and why.

    Firstly, good post :good

It makes no sense to me either, he's trying to weigh what he was when he was 25, it's stupid. Sweat suits as well? ffs :patsch

He's supposed to have a sports science degree, surely he must know about the history of sweat suits.

I wouldn't be surprised if he eats less in training camp as well, this is a guy who probably walks around at 275, trained his arse of to get to 246/250 for the Hersisia, Williams II, Haye fights and now fights under 17st.
