Loaded tv finished with boxing?

  1. This is in another thread but anyone who hasn't read it that might be able to shine a bit of light

Apparently loaded have scrapped the boxing,as I'm a bit of a fanatic and watch and do anything to do with boxing this would be a shame
I have noticed their old reruns of maloneys sky shows fight night reloaded which had a hour every Monday has stopped in the last few weeks
Also after having 4 or 5 shows averaging 1 a month, another had not been announced

Hope this isn't true as their shows were ok and normally on a Friday

I don't know where that leaves Maloney,John McDermott,Jon Lewis Dickinson,Danny price and Gary Cornish either apart from feeding off scraps on a David price bill a few times a year

And I'm expecting a lot of idiots going ' don't care anyone it was ****' but small hall shows being televised is healthy for boxing

I hope not. The quality of production and of the fights may of been poor but boxing on a free tv channel on sky is a good thing plus I actually enjoyed the Mcdermott v Skelton fight.

Loaded TV is finished full stop, I believe mate!

Ben Dover (of adult industry fame) was part owner. He plays drums regularly for a Guns 'N' Roses tribute band when they're in London and was telling me the other day that the whole thing's gone bang...

I didn't watch any of it but I assume that the fights weren't competative match ups, nor were the fighters in their best shape, nor did they put on a show. A casual fan wants to see a fight but there is too much boxing out there that is just slow, boring and embarassing the sport.

People want to see premier league or at least championship or league 1 level. Most of the time, it's not even pub football level.

The quality fo the fights wasnt THAT bad, but the production and everything else was. wouldnt surprise me if Grandslam was right, most people had no idea it even existed. nuts TV lasted only a wee bit longer.

Haha, not exactly, he's still performing and directing regularly, but the Loaded thing didn't work out for a number of reasons.
