    Panama has had Roberto Duran, Eusebio Pedroza, Ismael Laguna, Ernesto Marcel, Panama Al Brown, Hilario Zapata, Luis Ibarra, Alfonso Frazer, Anselmo Moreno, among several other former title holders. There's about four or so all-time greats amongst the aforementioned fighters, with a couple others being hall of fame quality.

    I'd say Panama has produced greater fighters than the Philippines.

    Cuba never fails to produce elite amateur talent.

    Argentina and Japan often come out with some ripe talent too.

    And the Japanese do it by hometown decisions, defending against tomato cans in Japan, Japanese bums defending against fellow Japanese bums so that WBA and WBC titles remain in Japanese bums' hands. That tradition has produced around 70 paper champs.

    This thread is General forum at its worst/ best which way you look at it.

    You have some know nothing boxing novices who think that the only fighter Panama ever produced is Duran and that Pacquiao is the only fighter the Philipines ever produced.

    Then you have dumbasses who cant even understand a simple ****ing question, when asked which country has produced the better boxers Panama or Phillipines? Its Panama or Phillipines? and these morons give answers like Cuba,Russia,Japan,Puerto Rico etc.

    There really should be a separated forum for newbs where they have to prove themselves worthy of posting in the main forum, with only the best one's being promoted to the GF, that would spare the GF of many dumbasses and many alts.
