Could Froch v Kessler be one sided? Or is it guaranteed to be close?

Hopkins comments and prediction about Froch winning easily and winning at least 8 rounds got me wondering about whether we could see a one sided victory for either Froch or Kessler. Opinions guys?

The only outcome I am 99.99% sure won't happen is Kessler dominating Froch and stopping him. Everything else is possible. But more than likley it will be a close fight.

Kessler is no bute,he will be too smart and tough to be dominated in my opinion

I think it will be a close, scrappy fight with Froch slightly doing more, getting the verdict.

I could easily see it. Both have the power to end the fight at any time. Calzaghe hurt Kessler to the body, I believe Carl should headhunt a little less in this one - that's a big possibility for a stoppage. Vice-versa, Froch admitted Kessler caught his attention to the body too.

You've got Kessler's inactivity / creaky performances which definitely factor into a greater chance of a stoppage in this one compared to the first fight.

I favour a stoppage at some point.

Trust me when i say this...

Hopkins does not know what he is talking about, American fighters are ignorant to what happens outside of america. Hopkins did not even know who Kessler was when he was up against Joe Calzaghe.

I don't think he has watched Froch or Kessler's career closely, like he stated.

There is no guarantee in boxing, unless the fix is in.

It could be every bit as good as bad, nobody knows. You have more indication because of the first fight, but there is no guarantee. Rematches are funny. This is boxing.

Both fighters are talking about gameplans and tactics. :boohoo

Matchroom will be praying its a 12 round FOTY WAR to justify the PPV and do more PPV in the future. If its a **** fight and a let down then its game over for PPV! (and game over for Matchroom!) :hey

Think it will still be close, but Froch will get a UD.

A lot of people underestimating Kessler on here I see a very close fight but if it goes to the cards Froch will get it,home fighter and all.

    Kessler needs a stoppage.

Bit extreme there with the game over for Matchroom, they still hold alot of clout with Sky and hands down have the best stable of fighters in the country.Pay per view isn't the be all and all if they do decide to get rid of it.

It'll go one of two ways for me

    1) Froch jumps on him early doors, maximum power in those slamming shots of his. Literally does unleash hell similar to the Bute performance Rnd 3-5 stoppage.

    2) Froch tries to play it tactical which will work in Kessler's favour. We'll see a rerun of the last fight with Kessler taking the rounds only this time Froch in his desperation will get clocked. Those swinging arm punches of his that leaves him off balance, once he's tired Kessler will know to counter with venom. He'll get caught square and will get knocked out for the first time in his career.

Think Kessler stops him, Froch will try and fight like he did against Bute and Kessler will catch him with a wild left hook
