Floyd should fight Matthysse then if he's scared of Canelos weight.

Id assume He weighed more vs trout because trouts so big.
90 percent of the time he's in the mid to late 160's

You just have to hear Schaefer's recent comments to see it won't happen - find the exact quote yourselves but I'll paraphrase, when asked if it will happen "I'm confident but I'm a positive guy anyway.... it's my priority...but sometimes these big fights don't come off"

Its not the weight, its how you use it and how you capitalize on your advantages.

The only question would be, can Alvarez use that advantage against Floyd?

You cant go into a fight thinking that if you weigh 20 pounds more youll win the fight. It takes more than that.

Yes it is a huge advantage given the circumstances of both fighters but Floyd will show Alvarez a lot of things hes never seen before.

i think Floyd will win a decision regardless but it will be a tough hard fight.

 

Alvarez came in heavy against Trout as TRout rehydrates in the 170s also. The fact is Canelo weight against other welterweights has been 164-167 - people are using the 172 as a perfect excuse to justify Floyd ducking but the reality is Canelo is a lot more likely to come in at around 166 and Floyd will/can come in at around 153-155 (if he decides to get on the scales which he won't so he doesn't lose the "Lil Floyd" moniker :roll:

 

Mayweather has a belt in that division! He already fought there. No excuses.
