Is Paulie's trash talk starting to make him unlikable?

Paulie is up for this one and I think he will put on one of his best performances but it won't be enough because he has succeeded in motivating Broner to a higher level of intensity. I like Paulie but in the words of Mayweather Sr, " He gon get his ass toe up "

 

The only thing we know for sure about this fight.

Paulie's a natural trash talker while Broner makes me cringe every time he opens his mouth - he tries so hard but just isn't funny.

I've found Paulie pretty funny throughout the build-up - he's consistently came out on top and embarrassed Broner.

Of course, none of that will matter once the bell rings.

 

Paulies hilarious, best trash talker in the game, quick witted dude. broners accidentally hilarious too hahaha dude tries to end every sentence in a punchline and only nails a good one like one of 5 tries hahahaha the rest are cringeworthy but funny for that same reason especially cause he's fooled himself into thinking he's actually the wittiest muther****er out there and won't hear any different. Even when Paulies owning him he doesn't realize it cause he's so cocky lol.

 

The most cringe worthy thing was seeing Schaefer build up Broner at the press conference like he was on par with Ali or something when it came to trash talk. Anyone who has ever thought Broner was smart or is good at trash talk is on his damn pay roll.

Scratch that, his friends just stand behind him staring into space.

He annoyed me in the Hatton build up because he never shut up

However because Broner a little twat, and he's getting "found out" as a trash talker by Paulie, I've actually started to take a shine to him.

 

If Broner had said, "I'm going to knock out Paulie and **** on him", everyone here would be saying that he's a classless bum. No one here would find it hysterical.

But everything Paulie says is lol funny. No, it isn't. This has been, by far, the gayest promo for a fight that I can remember.

I can't wait until this farce is over.

 

In the history of **** talking Paulie only has two superiors. Ali in the 60's and 70's and Ric Flair in the 80's. When you're good at talking smack, it sells tickets and builds your fan base. PM is very, very good at it. Broner is just an idiot with a sub-par IQ, and a modicum of boxing skill.

I think Broner's skillset and courage are unproven as he did poor against an undersized yet solid Ponce De Leon and has since failed to fight anybody with solid boxing skills. Paulie so far has gotten me interested in this irrelevant fight.

 

Nothing wrong with crying when you feel inferior. If the guy cleaning the toilet drops a tear after seeing the car of the CEO, I can understand that. I think its a bit wimpy, but nevertheless understandable.
