Hughie fighting the chap below in Romania tomorrow. Okay, it's against a winless bum who hasn't fought in 3 years but Hughie deserves respect for his activity and willingness to travel.

    http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=455753&cat=boxer

That's fights in the US, Canada, Belfast and now Romania so far as well as two fights next month in Ireland and in Canada again.

Great stuff from an 18 year old who already looks far more skilled than most HW "prospects". Far better than his brother was at the same age.

I like Hughie a lot but the lads he has faced so far have been quite poor, so I don't think we should go over the top hyping him yet. He didn't perform that well when he faced that cruiserweight in Ireland the other week but it will be interesting to see how he develops, he is only 18 so these low level fights are decent for his development.

Must be costing the Fury's a lot as they're paying for the fights out of their own pocket and Hughie is not paid for the fights according to Peters twitter anyway.

I think I remember reading on twitter that his last fight was at some charity event so he wasn't trying to knock him out. This was before the fight.

Don't know mate, I watched the fight and I do think he was pushing for the knockout, it was an easy win like anyway.

Hughie is a good talent, he is only 18 years old. He has another 4-5 years of growing to do at least before he is even close to his prime. Not sure how they're going to keep him away from the decent domestic level fighters though.

The likes of Ian Lewison or Dillian Whyte would be very difficult fights for Hughie at this stage.

Got no problem with him fighting guys with losing records now but surely after ten or so fights he has to step up in class. Rogan anyone?
