If Abraham has something it is power. His only problem is to hit his opponents clean with a power shot. And I dont think that Froch developed more power. Who did he stop? Taylor? (gassed out and not even get a "real" KO). Mack? (already stopped many times). The Bute stoppage was good... but I dont know if Bute has a good chin or not. I think we will know the answer after the Kessler fight.
And it also depends on luck if you can stop/hurt your opponent. I mean just look at Stieglitz-Abraham II. I never saw Abraham hurt like this. Also Stieglitz was the first fighter to stop him. Yet was this because Stieglitz has more power now? He claims this... but I dont think so. It is also "a luck thing" if you can stop your opponent or not.

    To Abraham:
If Abraham hits any opponent clean on the chin with a power shot you can be sure that it will hurt his opponent.

Thats it exactly. Kessler, AA, johnson, ward pascal and dirrell (guys who have never been stopped/very few times). The only reason carl doesn't have a higher KO percentage is because of the level of competition he has faced. The power has always been there

There was nothing lucky about Stieglitz's stoppage of Abraham.

Yes. That right hand from Stieglitz was just perfect. But I still think sometimes you also need a bit of luck to stop an opponent.

:deal True mate. After the Ward fight Froch said that Rob started training on improving his speed and technique. Aggression has a lot to do with it as well, he's alot more explosive.
Ward showed up Froch's flaws and the work in the gym to improve these flaws have made Froch a better fighter, or it looks that way so far.

Froch is heavy handed for sure... But he lacks one punch ko power... Maybe we could see it if he ever managed to land that "kitchen sink" uppercut he throws from the back of the arena... He would need to be fighting a blind opponent though for it to land

He's looked different in the last couple of fights because he has got to it straight from the start rather than ****ing about for 5 rounds before getting serious

Everytime Froch landed he shook Bute to his boots. The Mack finish was beautiful..

I remember he used to talk about that as his signature punch. he actually used to land it at domestic level though on occasion.
