2x olympic gold medalist. 396-1 amateur record (avenged only loss). 25 years old. Says he's going pro at the end of the year. What can we expect?

He appears really good. We'll know if he has the goods once he goes up against his first iron chinned pressure fighter who'll force him to work 12 rounds

Stylistically what kind of fighter is he gonna be as a pro? Boxer puncher? Slick counter puncher? I've watched some of his amateur fights/highlights but i really don't know much about the ams.

similar to how he was in the WSB. Aggressive, come forward counterpuncher in a high guard. I think he'll fight a little more reserved though once he starts doing 10 to 12 rounders.

He may have to be more of an ambush fighter and get in and out as the opponents start getting tougher

I YouTubed him, and he looks pretty good. He's rated at featherweight, but the wiki says he weighs in at 130 lbs. Anyone know what division he's headed too?

Not as good as Rigo, but he's got a chance to do the same even longer because he's younger. He's at 135lb I believe but should start at 130lb he's really not that big & doesn't add much weight on fight night.

Countdown to someone posting that he has a glass jaw. Probably someone who has never seen him.

Damn, I was hoping he would've entered at 126 lbs. That division is stacked with talent, and is going to be further stacked once Donaire and Santa Cruz go up.

130 lbs doesn't really offer much talent, but I'd love to see him fight against Gamboa and then go up and fight Vazquez at 135 lbs.

We'll see how this pans out. I've been hearing talk here and there about this dude since my finals started. Since I have time now, I YouTubed some of his boxing videos. He definitely has fantastic footwork and fast hands.

Guy actually looks really impressive the more fights you see him in. Can't wait till he turns pro.

The guy is extremely agile, has brilliant mind for boxing and is very disciplined. But we don't know how he can deal with steroided Americans like broner, and slick tough guys like gamboa

You don't win 2 olympic gold medals by accident. This kid definitely has the goods. 300+ wins in the ams with very few losses is remarkable. I expect him to be a major player in the pros.
