I think that Canelo will be the bigger star while if Broner challenges himself he could finish having the better legacy. I really like both fighters styles and the improvments they are showing. Broner remind me a bit of Toney with his infighting it's refreshing to see this style again.

Tyson Fury has more charisma than those two combined. Add in the fact that he's about the same age (and will have a longer career) and you've got a guy who will have a MUCH bigger impact on the sport long term.

Fury lost a lot of stock when he got knocked down by the cruiser-weight Cunningham. Doubt his career will be long, if his chin proves to be glass. David Haye would have a field day, if this was the case.

Offensive fighters always have an advantage from this standpoint. That's why Mike Tyson was and still is the most popular boxer in the world.

So Canelo will probably be more successful than Broner. But then again look at Floyd: defensive fighter but makes the most money because he's undefeated. If Broner can keep his "0", he may be able to duplicate Floyd's success.

Bump this thread in 10 years and we'll see who was right.

You consider 210 lbs of low body fat percentage as a cruiserweight? :?

Then you don't think it existed an heavyweight division in the '70s... :deal

Exactly as you said, minus the being bigger part. Canelo is Mexican and G. Broner is a little girl.

What.the.**** are you talking about son? Broner's in-fighting? Toney gets hit consistently only by a prime Roy Jones, not no small boy Gavin Rees.

It's a big difference in trying and doing. Ask Berto.

Wrong. He just headlined a show in San Antonio with a next to unknown opponent and sold over 40,000 tickets.

Was a 22 year old PBF doing this back in his day? No, he was fighting on undercards at high school gyms.

Broner is the better more complete fighter. He will have the brighter future IMO.
