If Froch-Ward II were to take place in london, would ESB's resident brittards put a healthy amount on Froch? After all guys, the fight was "closer than people make it seem". And Ward has "never fought out of Oakland" Are you guys willing to put your money where your bitching mouths have been for the last year? It would make me very happy to see betting tickets for huge sums if this fight went down.
If you saw Hall vs Perales and Dave Parris' score for McDonnell recently, you know Froch has a decent chance when the scorecards a read. If he keeps it remotely close that is.
I wouldn't risk over 100 quid, it would also depend on the odds (which I don't think would be that good because of the scorecards from the last fight) but alot of the willingness to bet on him isn't because I'm confident on him winning it's purely to make a potential win even sweeter.
calzaghes a better class of boxer than ward...doesnt stop yankee dooddle dandys pretending it would be a hard fight.
The scorecards were ******ed for their first fight in New York, so I don't think it'd be all that crazy to pick Froch with that in consideration. Wasn't there two 116-112's? Most Froch won is 3 rounds.
I was under the impression that most people realised Froch was soundly beaten and a rematch would probably have a similar, if maybe slightly less emphatic result. Froch is one of the best exponents of baiting humour in boxing though. He starts saying the fight was close and catches more fish than Sig Hanson.
I have no idea what makes you say that other than your blatant nationalism. Ward is obscenely good and beats any current 168er in any ring in the world.
