[DM][/DM] Mystical magic? What the **** are you smoking lol? Floyd Mayweather is a once in a life time fighter and if you look past what he does in the ring and can't see that he really is something extraordinary in terms of talent then you need to watch another sport.Naz was a flash in the pan a guy with a little bit of charisma and some knock out power who didn't want to train anymore at the age of 27 and started munching on cheeseburgers instead. There was nothing mysterious about Naz he was just as commercial as Floyd Mayweather and he was just as carefully marketed aswell with his target audience being younger fans.He wasn't very popular with the connoisseurs because of his attitude,he hadnt achieved anything really and he was already calling himself a legend and claiming to be one the greatest of all time.Floyd IS one of the greatest of all time, that is the difference.
I can't actually believe this is being debated I don't think it would in any other country in the world and there lies your answer
Mayweather has no personality, and is a child in a mans body. The guy is no superstar. Just an imbecile.
floyd couldnt fill out arenas and sell much ppvuntil de la hoya fight then he became Massive bigger than naz. naz was massive before he won a world title
This is simply ridiculous. Did Naz ever earn fcking £32m in 1 fight? Naz's career fortune is impressive at £70m, however Mayweather earned $90m last year alone. He dwarfs what Naz earnt in his career. Naz was big but bigger than Mayweather?? Do me a favor.
No, he was only just tapping into the US market when he retired. However had Naz been American with the same bravado he'd have been bigger than Floyd, much bigger.
Agree with this, I never used to like Naz but the man was a showman and was an exciting fighter. Floyd is not.
Bantam and Feather has never exactly been the glamour divisions and Nas brought huge attention to them. In a way he started that whole era of the lighter weights getting more shine than the heavy's. I don't think he was ever bigger than Mayweather, only in the UK, but at his peak he was still huge.
So why didnt he make it bigerg?? Because when push comes to shove he to violated in the biggest fight of his life and that was the end of that.
It has to be said the mark of a champion is how they recover from a loss. After Hamed got humbled by Barrera I think he just knew that he had met his maker. He didn't want any part of a rematch and preferred to retire. When PBF got pushed close by Castillo in the first fight (I thought he lost) he gave him an immediate rematch and won more convincingly.
Mayweather's fortune is pure luck - Oscar fight, PPV, Casinos, Vegas hometown, 50 Cent befriendment. However, he's actually a magnificent boxing talent, one of the best I've seen.
