Wayne McCullough won medals for Ireland in the Olympics even though hes from Northern Ireland which is part of the UK.

The Lions are going to play Austrailia in a few weeks but that doesnt mean that Southern Irish people and English people share the same nationality.

Europe plays America in the Ryder Cup but that doesnt mean Sergio Garcia and Lee Westwood are the same nationality.

However if you use actual geo-political facts. Is Wales a sovereign state? No.

Is Scotland a sovereign state? No

Is England a sovereign state? No.
