I'd love to see it, imagine the amount of hype there would be around the question could he do that to Ward? most likely not, but still.
Well there's a monstrous difference between the chins of Bute and Kessler. You all seem to forget the bombs Kessler took from Froch in the first fight. If anyone is getting KO'd it's gonna be Froch by a right straight to the body. They were really effective against Froch in the first fight, and I'm pretty sure Magee will agree it's still quite strong.
Would be very surprised if something like that happened. Think this will go the distance and Froch gets it by close UD
No. Kessler is a hell of a lot tougher than Bute. But I'm sure they'll stand him out in front of the baying Brit crowd for 10 minutes before letting him do his walk on in the hope of psyching him out like Bute and Mack were. Might have some affect, who knows.
Doubt it. Kessler is a cool cat, a different breed of cat. A horse of a different color. Another can of worms. Cut from a different cloth. A whole new order of business. A bird of another feather.
I don't think a Bute'ed is in the cards. From Canada so Bute is my man but Kessler is solid steal. Bute is soft but skillful. He needed to box the perfect fight againt Carl and instead decided to slug it out with him. Worst game plan ever. Kessler is the better fundamental boxer then Froch and the advantages that Froch holds over most fighters (size and strength) he doesn't hold over Kessler. Thus Froch is really the one that the pressure is on to perform. Froch had Kessler on the ropes in the last couple of rounds in their last fight but that was only after coming through some serious gut checks. Kessler hasn't slipped a much as people think he has so don't be surprised if this is another close fight.
Nah. You can't back Kessler up like that. He will stand and trade with you, not fall back to the ropes and let you tee off.
