So, since we don't go by the judges, do you believe Floyd won the first Castillo fight?

I believe he's arguably the greatest defensive fighter of all time. While Oscar can't be mentioned as the greatest of anything.

Nobody is going to view Floyd like that after he retires he has bitched out on all the big fights that were there for him.
His defensive skills will be noted as the man who had the best talent in ducking challenges.

People who are trying to defend Mayweather can only change their opinions once they assess it privately for themselves.

I've seen both sides of the coin and I am a huge fan of Mayweather but honestly, the thing that pips it are 1. Oscar's legacy defining performances 2. All of his losses were past prime, one being avenged against a steroided ATG 2. Oscar H2H beats Mayweather 3. Oscar goes through Mayweather's resume undefeated and can claim no blueprint. 4. I have Oscar beating Quartey, Trinidad, Mosley 2 and Whitaker, and I have Whitaker only being very little past prime which still makes him virtually unbeatable.
    - You have to look at Oscar in the same manner you would an old timer like Canzoneri.

Mayweather is more skilled but never used it against good opposition. If Rigo retires now, he's far more skilled than many ATG's, but he wouldn't even hit Top 150.

The man clearly hurt his hand dumbass. Pics were shown and we all saw it live on TV it was swollen. He still manged to out land Guerrero and bust him up. He didn't lose rounds as you say "while running" like Oscar did when he ran from Tito. Understand the difference hater? It's because PBF is a better and more complete fighter than Oscar and has always found a way to win when faced with adversity. Deal with it.

Yeah he won it. PBF won the first 6 rounds. Are you trying to tell me he didn't win another round for the rest of the fight?

    No.

He fought the better opposition, but he lost to the best he fought.

I would like an honest answer. Knowing what you know about Floyd, if you put him in ODH's spot in 1999, do you think Floyd would do the same thing. Do you see Floyd taking on Quartey, Trinidad, Mosley x2, Vargas, and Hopkins? People want to praise Floyd for fighting an undefeated Hatton, but can't give Oscar props for stepping in the ring with Quartey and Trinidad....yeah.

All doesn't need to be said and done. Floyd is already greater and it won't change.

Floyd hurt his shoulder in that fight. Thats why it was more tougher. He gave Castillo a rematch and dominated him. If Oscar is so good why is he retired whilst Floyd is still dominating at the top of the game?

36 and still getting it! Money Team!
