 Don't get me started on the horses!! Yeah I know what you're saying but ole Terminator is taking some grief and I think he was the only one I remember reading who picked what happened for the first 7 rounds or so. I was bloody stunned watching those opening rounds, but fairplay to Ricky's heart. He did get a bit lucky too mind; I immediately thought of Abraham going the distance against Miranda from the 4th onwards with his jaw hanging off!

So was I if you read the thread back, but I'm not making a big deal about it.

I was 1 of only 2 people on the whole of the forum who voted for a Gonzalez points win, and I broke the fight down. I just knew Gonzalez would turn out to be a class boxer, I even mentioned a Rigondeaux esk performance. Puerto Rican's and Cuban's turn pro late. But there is no shock at all when they turn pro that they can outbox and outclass opponents with ease. Most of these were top amateurs, but relatively unknown fighters world wide. Gonzalez's padwork alone was enough to show that he can box.

The Ricky Burns fans were labeling him a "Crude Banger" :-(

For 7 rounds they were silenced, it was all over, Ricky couldn't even hit the bloke. Gonzalez gave him the win, Ricky didnt take it, he stepped it up granted, but I dont believe that broke Gonzalez. But he won, and thats just the end of that. Years from now that "victory" will shine on Ricky Burns' record IMHO.

Yep thats it, I went against 99% of this forum with an unpopular decision, which was fully justified during and after the fight when the people labelling him a "Crude Banger" kept their mouths shut. Yep I dont know **** about boxing and its all a load of shite isn't it? Unlike Terminator X, I'm not wanking over nearly being right. I aint bothered. You dont know a person knows about boxing by them making the predictable predictions, you know a person knows about boxing by them making predictions that go against the consensus. RIcky Burns won, on paper, yes, congratulations, wonderful, magnificent. But dont be so foolish to overlook the rest of the fight. Ricky was given the win in a fight he was losing.

But isn't it weird that you pop up everytime I mention Ricky Burns? I can go without even whispering his name for weeks and the moment I do you're here. Without failure.... and this is in a thread nothing to do with Ricky Burns. :huh

You obviously DO care about what I have to say and read everything I do say. You might not like it, but I win if thats the case. If I talk ****, why read it?

You ain't his PR manager are you? Part of this group of discredit-ers? Or a fanboy?

    Stupid questions really. :yep

The closer this fight comes, the more i seem to think that froch will win this point, since they last fought Froch has had the better fights and i think he is going to be all over kessler like a tramp with chips

I apologize if you were being serious alba. It was worded weirdly and can easily be taken the other way. Thats if you are not taking the **** that is.

I was saying that I dont get why Terminator X is wanking over nearly getting an unpopular prediction right. I was near enough on the money, but I see no reason to gloat. We're adults and not only that anything can happen in boxing at any given moment. Its the unpredictability the sport throws up that we all love. All it proves is that we do know a thing or two about boxing and we shouldnt be accused of it because we pick the unpopular predictions. People clearly knew that Gonzalez was better than even the brutal youtube footage suggested. Which was proven for 7 rounds when he boxed Ricky's head of. I expected Gonzalez to come in and box before the fight itself. I even said people will be raving on about Gonzalez after the fight, and he could be a hidden gem. But why keep going on about it?

Anyway this is a Carl Froch-Mikkel Kessler II thread, so I'll say no more.

As for taglines, I dont believe the fight needed one, it speaks for itself. Just Froch vs. Kessler II would have been fine. But no, we are dealing with cheesy Matchroom, we were always going to get one involving warriors of some sort. Could see it a mile of.

    'Fight Week' now

Froch doing open work out in Nottingham (Market Square) at 1pm today, also announced that the weigh in will be open to public at the plaza at the o2 on Friday.

Sky start stepping up the promo from tonight with a show every night of the week.

must say I'm quite looking forward to it now, probably the biggest fight i've been to live.

I'll still stick by Froch on points in a similar fight to the first. Both men going at it till the final bell. I think being on home ground will pull Carl over the line. But if I was a betting man I'd have something on Kessler to. Froch seems nervous to me. He is the one with something to prove in this fight. The pressure is of for Kessler having already beaten Carl and faced Calzaghe in the lions den. But that could work both ways.

A stoppage could be on the cards if Froch comes in reckless, or Kessler could just repeat the victory in the first fight.

Cant wait. So many possibilities. 50/50 fight. Should make for a great fight.

Had great fun down the O2 today. Met some fighters and had pictures taken and even got on Sky Sports News over right shoulder of Kessler in Interview .

One of the guys working there said someone on stage during Groves weigh in said ''another easy payday George '' and he swung round and had the right ache about it. Froch annoyed some of the Sky crew as he didn't arrive for his interview.
