Considering he hits as hard as a heavyweight, yes. However Froch is iron chinned and Froch is very skillful.
While a hard hitter, Golovkin has yet to actually knock a solid 160lbs'er out. (Don't get on my case with Proksa, the virtually unknown, SMALL MW). How is he supposed to knock a solid 168lbs'er out who has an established punch resistence and is vastly bigger than Gennady? Look, I like Gennady.. but this **** has to stop somewhere. Golovkin took but many rounds to stop Kassim Ouma, KASSIM OUMA PEOPLE. He's not knocking Froch out, or anyone of the top 168lbs'ers out for that matter.
I think Froch is all wrong for him, and should they ever fight he kicks the absolute **** out of him. But Golovkin is a hard hitter, and no one is invincible... so sure, I guess :conf
Ouma hadn't been stopped since 1999 and he fought Taylor, Martirosyan, Bundrage, Marco Antonio Rubio. And Golovkin has already stopped top 168lbs' er Bute
Kassim Ouma had been vastly inactive and lost 5 of his last 7 by the time he fought Gennady! Froch has NEVER been stopped, and he's a solid 168lbs'er. Gennady lovers gtfo here, he's not stopping Carl.. if anything, Carl would put it on him.
He could but highly unlikely. Froch has a pretty darn good chin and is a solid boxer when he wants to be as he proved against Abraham. Abraham has more power than Golovkin.
