Guess we'll see tomorrow which one is overrated.

I say Froch is. Kessler is rated about right, ie., not on p4p lists.

I think for some time Froch was overhyped. For example, experts favored him to win the super six. At this point people understand that he is a level short of he treats in his division. Still a very good fighter.

Agreed. "Solid but not spectacular" is how I would describe him. He'll beat pretty much everybody, just not the best of the best.

Kessler lost to Calzaghe? Hopkins did too. No shame in losing to Calzaghe. Calzaghe's only problem is his weak resume.

Kessler has some good wins, Froch, Mundine, Andrade, Green, Magee, Lucas.

    Good post :good

But i do think Froch beat Froch in the last fight against Kessler.
He was fighting in Kesslers backyard and should have been more active, but he was lazy and spent too much time posturing and looking for big shots.

I agree that Froch did beat Froch. He beat himself basically, for not fighting those last two rounds hard enough in another fighter's hometown. With scores of 113-115 and 112-116, the fight was on the table in those last rounds but Froch was eating too many right hands.

I didn't think that Froch won that fight.

46-2, 3x SMW champion, only 2 losses came to the #1 SMW ever in Calzaghe and as of now probably the #2 SMW ever in Ward. He has wins over Froch, Andrade, Mundine, Green, and Magee.

I've never heard anyone claiming him to be a legend. I do not understand how this guy is overrated.

If he were to beat Froch then Ward, he can be a legend. Doubtful to happen though.
