So any rumours on how Kessler's sparring with Groves and Cleverly went!?

Any rumours? I'm curious. One person told me they heard Cleverly was battering him but I think they were making it up.

 

there only rumours but cleverly didnt seem impressed with kessler. But don't forget cleverly is much heavier and has amazing work-rate which Kessler never match. It wouldn't surprise me that Clev was to much for kessler's mechanical/methodical style.

I am always wiry when top top figthers late in preparation call up star sparring partners either they not had good sparing or they still need to know "where they actually are in terms of preparation"

 

On the Boxing News podcast they said they heard Cleverly really did a number on him and that Groves got the better of him.

I think Carl Froch needs better sparring partners. If Kessler has been in very tough sparring, and not getting his own way..? THIS IS GOOD. Chris Eubank always stated that, if he was dominating sparring partners! It was bad work, and a total waste of time.

For me i think Carl Froch dominates his sparring partners, he needs to really challenge himself.

This is one thing i give David Haye credit for, always seems to pay good money for tough tough sparring partners.

I always remember the Arsenal he put together to face Harrison.

I don't know man..? I saw the clip where Johnny Nelson was watching him spar.

Carl Froch dominated them.

 

He had a 10 round fight with Bellew the other day.

I think Bellew will benefit from it more than Froch.

 

There's not a chance Cleverly did a number on Kessler.

 

Groves and Cleverly are probably the best sparring partners Kessler could of got!

Fair enough Bellew is a good fighter but..? technically i don't think he does anything for Froch to really prepare him for the challenge that is Kessler.

Groves would of probably been ideal.

 

I got told Groves bashed him up & Cleverley boxed his ears off.

I've not wavered from my initial thoughts on this fight. Kessler is close to being shot, he's here for the payday & Froch is going to take him out or make him quit on his stool...
