Will team Froch' usual tactic..

..Of making his opponent stand for a ridiculous amount of time in front of a baying crowd of British yob lunatics before allowing them to make their walk on have an effect on Kessler?

We all know it completely psyched out Bute before their fight, and they did the same to Mack before allowing him to make his walk on. Usually fighters walk from backstage, but in but those fights they were out on a podium practically in the middle of the screaming, hate filled, overly aggressive British crowd. It's an underhanded tactic if you ask me. :-(

They clearly want to get Ward over to the UK so they can do the same in the hope that it'll help Froch get the win. Shocking behaviour. :verysad

If you can't beat a man on your merits, you shouldn't be so desperate as to try anything to get the win. Is it really that important to Carl that he's willing to try underhanded, bordeline cheating tactics? Awful.


Kessler is a stronger character than Bute or Mack, however. Will it have an effect on him? Could Froch score another early knock out because of it? Hopefully they won't let them commit this heinous act outside of Nothingham and the fight will be a fair one.

 

How does that change how long Kessler will have to stand in front of the crowd before they play his music?

 

It's terribly underhanded though, don't you agree?

How would you feel if you were made to stand in front of 12,000 people all on your own and suffer the torrent of abuse, hate and negativity they had for you while trying to stay focused on the fight? :-( Shocking.

 

But explain keeping him standing there for 5+ minutes before playing his music for the walk on. Who comes on first or last is irrelevant. There was literally nothing else happening. Just him standing there and the crowd baying, hungry for blood like the ancient Romans in the colliseum. Felt bad for the man. :-(

Did team Froch not trust his own ability to win without this kind of mental warfare?!

Would this kind of underhanded, sly behavior have an effect on Kessler as it did with Bute and Mack?

 

Ah, but there the crowd was maybe 60/40 considering neither man was from the States.

In Nothingham, it was almost 100% Froch fans. Completely different scenario.
