I think Frank would be over-joyed if Gavin wanted to jump ship to Hearn, infact he'd pick Gavin up in Birmingham and gladly drive him to Eddies offices. Gavin is an over-payed moaner who is completely boring to watch, has no fanbase or would develop one no matter how well you market him and most importantly of all he's probably hit his ceiling at British domestic level, at the most maybe european but no way World Welterweight Top 10 level unless he massively improves which i don't see happening.
Yeah i don't think he cared about Brook and i don't think his heart is in it with Gavin either. Must be hard when you've worked with the likes of Naz, Benn, Bruno, Tyson, Calzaghe, Hatton, Khan, Haye to have to deal with ego's like Brook, Gavin and Degale who have zero personality or Charisma and don't sell tickets either.
Hearn did well with Brook especially matching him with Hatton which was always gonna be a ticket seller but i wouldn't be surprised if he's given away alot of those 20,000 tickets for free or done 2-1 deals to shift as many as possible and make Brook seem like a big ticket seller.
Yeah probably but the difference is the general public barely know who Kell Brook is wheras Amir Khan is a household name in Britain plus an international star too. If you can't sell tickets with a name like Khan then it's down to the promoter not tapping into the proper markets.
