Something boring Ward will NEVER do in a ring. Kessler really is the man at 168. Biggest earner and most exciting fighter. Screw big headed AW.
Too bad Ward schooled him silly. :hi: Great KO tho, it just makes Ward schooling of Kessler all that more impressive. :yep
Be under no illusion Kessler is gonna be punching a chin with considerable more resistance tonight :good
Funny, was in the middle of watching that fight right as I clicked on this thread. Very well set up. Kessler was stepping into the jab the whole fight, then stepped forward while turning into a left hook Green never anticipated. What is more telling to me, however, is the way Green stunned and dropped him in the first. Most of Carl's success in the first fight was coming back with a slew of punches after Kessler would step in and throw behind his jab and step back out. Green did just that, stepped into Kessler's range and launched an overhand right that had him wobbled and floored. I think Froch is going to try and repeat the success he had landing that shot in the first fight, and trying to sneakily set it up and follow up with punches in bunches, much like he did against Bute. Kessler's movement and jab are good tools to use, but I think he's too slow of foot to defend against Froch.
The man was alive, standing, enjoying his moment, boxing in front of thousands, then, half a second later he's there, unconscious on the canvas; lying down like a vegetable. Life is harsh. :hat
