Rounds 2-3 Takam didn't do much and Grant was on his way to maybe picking up a 10-10 in those rounds if you were feeling very generous towards him, until Takam landed big shots in the last 20 seconds of each of those rounds that left you no choice but to give them to Takam.

At no point did he have Takam rattled, at all. He did land the right a few times but was never able to land cleanly/get any power behind it. Good inside work from Takam throughout to nullify Grant.

None of those guys are top 20 fighters. And Grant looked so bad today that I would back most of those guys to beat Grant equally convincingly.

Maybe Top 20 was pushing it but he's definately Top 30 now.

Lets face it, outside of the Top 10 Heavweights the rest are pretty average to poor.

Takam is 32 years old so they can't wait around too long, maybe go for someone like Dimentrenko or Franklin Lawrence next.

That is an embarrassing loss. Tony may have been a kickboxing champ (long ago) but he is wretched in this sport. Takam is the only non-can he ever beat.

Tony only won that fight narrowly on the cards, and I would assume Takam has improved a lot since then, he hadn't fought anyone notable at the time of the Tony fight.

Why do you think so? Takam looked not good against Grant. Just fought an even worse fighter.

Were you really not impressed by Takam? Sure, Grant is past his best, and Takam didn't do anything spectacular or hugely impressive, but he fought intelligently throughout, attacked Grant on the inside from first bell to last and was very sharp with both the left and the right, landing at will.

He's definitely a top 50 HW. Would like to see him in with the likes of Pianeta, Dimitrenko, Safetypin, Wach etc.

Impressed by Takam? No how? He fought against an awful opponent. Yes he is a top 50 HW but that does not mean that he I was impressed or that Takam is any good.

Takam has no defense is easy to counter and slow on his feets. But yeah he could give the likes of Pianeta or Dimitrenko a good fight.

Well we both agree that he is top 50, and all top 50 HWs have some ability and do some things well.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Takam would stand a good chance against the likes of Pulev, Scott, Fury and Jennings, but he's a solid fighter who would be in some good scraps if he stepped it up.

Takam vs Chisora would be great.

Tony was jabbing and moving there and looked decent, Takam is a bit one dimensional and was kind of exposed there.

I would give him a decent shot at beating Adamek as well.
