Sauerland wants Ward to Denmark

    Basicly Sauerland says they will go all out to try and get Ward to Denmark when/if Kessler defeats Froch (quoted as saying he is willing to "break the bank" to get this fight).

    He also says:

    "We will do anything in our power to get Mikkel this fight against Ward, and honestly I can not see how Ward and his promoter can say no to our offer"


    "This is a fight that can sell out at parken stadium" (about 38.000 spectators)

    if Kessler does beat Froch, and this offer is made, i hope Ward takes it, just to quiet down the ****** Ward haters

    Who the hell else does Ward have to fight? None of his options will pay as much as Kessler and none will have as much publicity as this one. Ward wants a tune up in September, he and Kessler could make it happen in December?

    I think he should rematch both in Europe if that's where the money is. Then move up as you said, unless another unlikely must-see fight presents itself at 168.

    Dawson was dead at the weight. Ward hasn't come close to stopping any other world class fighter...Not even close.

    I can see the concerns for Ward though. The largest crowd he's ever fought in front of. All against him...and of course the judging. That crowd atmosphere would be electric.
