Yeah...Kelvin Young...a middleweight who's got 12 wins to his name and every single one of the coming on points...I dont believe it.

Also, an interview with Kelvin Young on Carl Froch in today's local Swindon paper: http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/...ks_sparring_partner_Froch_to_do_the_business/

“I can only see one winner,” said Young. “This is the fight of the year and they are two very tough guys.

“I have been sparring Carl and he is in the shape of his life.

“When I started the sparring with him I was doing okay but over the weeks he has stepped it up and he is totally different class.

“He has been doing 18-round sparring session against three or four top boxers.

“He has the fitness, home advantage - he is just on a different level.”

“I’ve been chatting to Carl and it is the Kessler defeat that hurt him the most.

“This is the wrong he wants to right. I know he lost to Andre Ward but when I’ve spoken to him it is only the Kessler loss he talks about.

“Carl has the heart, he really wants this win and I think he will want this fight more than Kessler.”

“At one point he didn’t think the fight would even go ahead last time because of the whole ash cloud incident.

“It ruined his preparation and he even ate some burgers at a BBQ because he didn’t think the fight would go ahead.

“But it’s different this time. He is totally focused and his training camp has gone perfectly.

“Kessler has the WBA title but he only beat Brian Magee to win that. No disrespect to Magee but Froch has fought better opposition since the last fight.

“Froch went the distance with Andre Ward and dismantled Lucian Bute in devastating style straight after that defeat. Carl never takes an easy fight and he didn’t have to fight Bute. It was a risk but he took the fight and produced the goods.

“He will have the edge against Kessler. Some people are saying Froch will knock Kessler out and I don’t know about that.

“They are both two warriors and to be honest I can see the fight going the distance but with Froch winning.”

I favour Kessler anyway, but this new fact from the esteemed poster has convinced me.

Froch is known to regularly have some pretty intense sparring with Tony Bellew, they regularly beat the **** out of each other.

Froch seemed a bit rattled at the press conference. Is it Froch the warrior or Froch the worrier? haha.

He was rattled. IMO he peaked too early emotionally and is too excited.

Still, I think he'll have enough to beat Kessler.

    (Go, Mikkel!)
