Chilemba successfully made it ugly in the 5th, but he didn't augment that with actual clean work. He just made Bellew look bad (comparative to 1, 2, 3, & 4).

Besides, the left hook sealed it.

Chilemba is diving in and jabbing the body on widely splayed legs. Bellew is shoving in and wrestling his arms down in the clinch, trying for a hammering right up close. Guido Cavalleri implores both to clean it up on the inside, with less wrenching on the arms both ways. Chilemba spins with his arms pinned, trying to shake Bellew off, then gets knocked back into the ropes with a left hook on the cheek while loading up a right hand. Another incidental head bump.

The 5th and 6th were uglier/closer rounds than any of the previous four. Inexperienced judges might have the knee-jerk response to give both to Chilemba accordingly.

That isn't how scoring works. Each round is a miniature bout standing on its own, not to be viewed in relation to any "big picture". :good

If Boxer A starts doing better and Boxer B starts doing worse, you don't automatically give Boxer A points unless his work is actually better in that round. If Boxer B is still edging them, keep giving him the rounds.
