    Gonzalez Alcoba is walking up to Groves and using chicken-wing feints with his right arm crooked by his side, flapping his pointed elbow up to mime an overhand right but not actually loosing it. Groves doesn't fall for his tricks, moving in the same direction with his up-and-down treading motion throwing crisp left jabs from outside. Groves presses in behind a high guard and jabs Gonzalez Alcoba in the nose, and then drops a few anchors to the body. Gonzalez Alcoba catches Groves with a left hook and falls in with some big power shots, rights and more left hooks but whiffing over Groves' head.

    Please tell me nobody had Gonzalez Alcoba stealing that.

    Yes he buzzed Groves a little, but that was after 2:30 of getting his ears boxed off.

    Encouraging sign for the Uruguayan, though.

    Groves bounces some jabs off the chin as Gonzalez Alcoba comes straight to him. Gonzalez Alcoba is DROPPED BY A RIGHT HAND chucked up from behind Groves' ass - he never saw it coming. Gonzalez Alcoba is badly wobbled getting up and O'Connor waves it off. One punch knockout.

    Groves has a lovely jab; and that, more than anything, is what separates him from Gonzalez Alcoba...who doesn't appear to have that punch in his arsenal, it seems.

    I would never put money on Groves. Leaky defense, and bad chin. Not a good combo.

    Good shot though Gonzalez is done.
