I saw them live a month or so ago. (Volbeat, the Danish band who custom wrote Mikkel Kessler's theme song "A Warrior's Call" - on which he actually sings the chorus. :yep Fight, fight, fight, fight!)

    Fun show.

I'm not watching the boxing tonight but I'm getting sick of seeing fighters beat the count and still get it waved off. Isn't that what the count is there for? You get up within a 10 count and you carry on, otherwise if its down to the refs decision anyway what's the point in the count?

I know a boxers health is of paramount importance but I'm just sick of seeing premature stoppages:twisted:

I agree... He was getting knocked cold if the ref let him continue.

That wasn't a "Brit stoppage" as they call them. IMO

Even if one of the two win this in emphatic fashion, I'm still not interested in a rematch with Ward. Just like I wasn't interested in seeing Mayweather v Marquez 2 after Marquez beat Pacquiao.

Perhaps Golovkin could move up, then we will find out for sure if he's the real deal?

And if not a move upto 175 (although Froch has ruled that out).

Groves would even wreck the latest version of Tony Dirrel (looked like pure trash in his last outing)

Dre Dirrel would run from Groves for from bell to bell until he got caught and stopped. Groves can cut a ring off better than Froch ever could:deal

By the count of ten you need to be upright and fit to go on.

Basically you have 10 seconds to a) pull your **** together, scrape yourself off the canvas, be on your feet able to present your closed fists out for the official to grab (ensuring they don't limply drop afterwards) and further able to step toward him on request should he still doubt your readiness.

Many fans don't understand that just technically being "up" doesn't cut it. You need to, at the count of ten - not ten-and-a-half, not ten-and-a-quarter - be ready to resume the action.

You must not have seen Tony's return. Don Mouton is a journeyman MW and he was holding his own with Dirrel for the entire fight.:-(

Dont think so. Just because Stieglitz likes to fight inside does not make him in a puncher/brawler.
Stieglitz is a working machine with fast hands, decent power (if he hits clean he can hurt anyone) and a very high workrate. But also he has times when he fight on the outside. He is more something between a "boxer" and "brawler".
Who would you think would win the fight Groves-Stieglitz? I think Stieglitz wins via stoppage. I am not that impressed with Groves.
