Shows how much you know. During his prime, Oscar only really faded in the Trinidad fight! Yet morons like you try to say he had a pattern of it. Oscar was known for closing the show knocking Carr out in the 11th, Vargas in the 11th, Quartey down in the 12th etc. The mosley fight was a hell of a fight oscar hung in fighting hard until the very end and Mosley was just lucky enough to have a little more in the tank.

How the hell would you have Quartey 3 rounds ahead going into the 12th? Oscar was outboxing him the majority of the fight with the exception of the 2 rounds after they traded knock downs. Quartey was pretty much just throwing his jab the last 3 rounds and most of the shots weren't even landing. Oscar was landing the clean, effective punches, mostly combinations that were snappin Ike's head back, and Oscar rocked Quartey in the 11th round, buckled his knees. No way in hell quartey was ahead by more than a round going into the 12th. The only reason people get excited that Quartey should have won is solely because Oscar was knocked down for once and was truly hesitant to mount any offense for the 2 rounds to follow. Forget the fact Oscar landed the cleaner, more effective punches, and knocked quartey down more times.

 

Mayweather is one of the greatest EVER! He's up there with Ray Leonard.

 

Trinidad - no brainer
Whitaker - was still rated P4P #1 in the world when oscar beat him
Hernandez - don't tell mayweather he isnt HOF material, he still claims Hernandez was his own best win
Mosley - In their second fight Oscar clearly beat him, even while on PED's, regardless of that **** decision which every online poll I've seen has oscar winning that fight by a mile

 

Mayweather is better than Leonard. Leonard had trouble with Floyd Mayweather Sr lol, Floyd Jr would box circles around Leonard.

resume wise its easily ODLH Genaro Hernandez isnt even one of Oscars best wins while it is one of Mayweathers same with Gatti, Mayweather didnt fight everybody around and Oscar did even if he lost. Only arguement Mayweather has is having a perfect record and beating a past prime Oscar.

This comment should end the thread. Some people who believe Mayweather is greater than Oscar have a superhuman opinion of Mayweather, stating that he's better than Leonard. They also selectively choose information according to their own agenda even at the expense of plausibility.
