Ward said you've got to come to US to make it...?!?

1/ Froch has already been there on more than 1 occasion.
    2/ That isn't actually true.
3/ Froch is the money man and makes 3 times what Ward does per fight.
4/ Froch sells out 18k arenas in 3 hours.

Tell me again why Froch needs to come to the US Andre?

Ward talking **** coming across like a twat.. **** him hope he doesn't get the payday.
    Petulant ****

At the end of the interview Ward questioned Froch's record overseas! How hypocritical! I can't believe he doesn't see the irony.

The bad thing for Ward is that he'll probably lose getting this
fight to B-hop. I can see Froch choosing Nard instead and i
think that's why froch didn't answer max's question directly
and emphatically when asked if he wanted to avenge that loss
too. Some article on here was saying the winner was pretty much
    gauranteed a fight w/ X.

Exactly. Ward brings no fans. So what the **** did it matter the fight was in Atlantic City? Completely neutral venue and Ward won.

Calling Froch a ****ing draw because he attracts in ****ing Britain. Like he's making Pacquiao and Mayweather dollars. What was his purse tonight 2.5 mil? And thats supposed to entice Ward:patsch

I was just about to ask your thoughts in a PM about the fight mate.

I lost £60(about$100?) on CL final, but Froch on points means I come out just above even.

And I'm hoping you're one of the ones who can acknowledge that Ward made a balls of that interview.

And for guys with reading comprehension problems,in my first post I acknowleged he discussed the possibility at the end of it.
But only after sounding a bit poofy about the whole thing. He only just puled it back because he knew he sounded bad and The Executioner is on his shoulder.

Didn't Ward get his chance to fight Bute? didn't take it. At a time where many were regarding him the best fighter outside of those who were in the super 6. Froch got to Bute and took him out in style. That won Froch a lot of respect I guess. No one really cared about Ward's fight against Dawson.

Now Froch has avenged his loss to Kessler and has a couple of belts to his name plus he continues to get the respect. Ward is mad, cos he's not getting any love. And perhaps he made a bad choice of opponent last time out. Should have fought and beat Bute then that could have left Froch is a weird position needing a fight.

Because who else is there at 168?

    Funny how it's turned out.

The U.S. doesn't support their African American fighters like foreigners think. Outside of Oakland, Ward is outside of his comfort zone. I think the British/Froch fans should be the last fanbase complaining about Ward never leaving his hometown, when the last time they fought in New Jersey, Froch got pretty good scorecards to say the least, 115-113 2x in a fight where ironically the English judge scored it how it was supposed to be, 118-110. While the Canadian judge and the American judge had it 115-113 for Ward. Terrible scorecards for a fight Ward clearly and widely won.

Now if Ward got such horrible scorecards in his "home country", where he'd "have the advantage", imagine in England. Forget about actual close fights like Hopkins-Calzaghe, Cunningham-Adamek II, the American wouldn't get wide scorecards, let alone a win in a close fight.

You need to stop with the "Leave your country" whining. The U.S. is not like England who support their fighters in close fights. We put our fighters down even in fights they won by a wide margin. Just stop it.

  14. "You've got to go to the US to make it"

ER...Ward...how many tickets do you sell in the US?

How many does Froch sell in the UK?

    Who's 'made it'?

I'm sorry but you cant even say Ward's beat everyone that matters. He beat Abraham, Froch, Kessler and Dawson but he didn't be Bute, he's not beat Stieglitz and there's still Cleverly, Shumenov, Golovkin and Martinez around his weight division that he could concievably fight either by moving up or down, having one of them move up or down or at catch weight.

The fighters he's beat have granted him deserved recognition as the best Super Middleweight and one of the best active boxers in any weight division but he definitly has not beat everyone.
