You opinion is completely invalid as (by your own admission) you "watched" the fight via radio commentary.

If people are happy with PPV then it's up to them. Adverts during them though, particularly between rounds in fights, are an utterly shameless cash grab, it's not even a debate.

    It's still a valid point.

    .....and live text.

But how did I know about the adverts? :huh

    :think

I asked this question a few days ago about would they be showing adverts on PPV. No one answered that. I was shocked to say the least. It was like watching Sky Sports 1 not Box Office that we had to pay £15 for.

Good main fight but terrible undercard.

Not worth the money for me and certainly not to SKY but if some of you want to pay it thats up to you.

At least the main fight delivered so i guess that means PPV is back and a reality again.

Agreed that's the worst thing about the PPV's is the adverts.

What are 'we' paying £15 quid for then? you don't get adverts on HBO PPV.

They refrained from doing it in the Froch-Kessler fight.

But its not the point though.

The ring is plastered with sponsors and adverts. The fight is being broadcast all over. HBO aswell. Both fighters are sponsored. It was £15 PPV.

They shouldn't be advertising at all. Before OK. After OK.

    But during?

    Pisstake!

    Because you read the forum?

Everyone knew there would be adverts. There have always been adverts during PPV fights.

No PPV. No fight. God forbid you actually have to pay for for quality...

    Always?

The fact is, there shouldnt be. They are making a killing of this fight on PPV, ticket sales alone. Not only that, but it was sponsored by gambling amongst other things, it was being broadcast all over the world.

Was there any need for it this time?

Its taking advantage. But if you look at it business wise, its understandable.

    Still a joke though.

That said I can understand if boxing fans but also peasants like Craney are complaining. Hopefully those types can work hard to get themselves in a spot where 15 quid is affordable...

How are you annoyed about adverts on a PPV you didn't watch?
