Floyd did not have any rivals from the UK while he was coming up and establishing himself as a PPV draw.

Ward is not even a regular HBO/SHO draw, much less a PPV draw. He makes the most money in the UK fighting Froch at this point.

You only have a point about 2.5 million being a small payday if Andre Ward is making more than that himself. What did Andre Ward make for his fight with Chad Dawson? It was his most recent fight and a fight being two divisional Kings should be a massive draw and a massive payday. Did it make, as you termed it, "Pacquiao and Mayweather dollars" or a more modest amount? Did it even make Froch/Kessler money?

Where did you get this 2.5 mil from?? You keep saying it like its a fact, Pay per view numbers wont even be in yet + gate plus what HBO paid for the rights and every other country that showed the fight

 What the **** are you talking about, dude. You realize how many champions America had? In order to be acknowledged by the general American public, you'd have to be the best of the best, and even then you need a gimmick to sell. Oscar had his good looks and LA on his back, while Floyd played the villain role. The UK in the other hand are happy that an obscure midget with t-rex arms like Ricky Hatton was only somewhat good.
Froch isn't known anywhere in the world besides the UK and maybe Denmark. What kind of man would want to go on and live life not knowing he's the best..
Martinez drew 55 thousand people in Argentina, but like a true man, he doesn't hide behind his fame in his home country, he wants to fight and be the best. Canelo drew 50k thousand people in Texas, yet doesn't hide behind his fame and wants to fight the best in Mayweather. Either you're an insane dick rider, or not a man. Every man in some point of his life wants to be the best.

Exactly. In America we prefer quality over quantity.

Britain its the opposite. Khan and Hatton had massive followings whereas Joe Calzaghe and Froch lived in the shadow most of their careers.

Im saying Valuev used to pack in big crowds, which seems to be Frochs fans reasoning for Ward having to come to Britain.

In case you forgot Ward has already beaten Froch with one hand.

If Wards comes and beats Froch again in Britain. Cool.

If he stays in America and fights Chavez, GGG, Dirrell or whoever, thats cool too.

    Hes the champ.

Exactly! Ward keeps bringing up his 5 hour flight to Atlantic City like he's gone and fought all around the world and is some kinda hard ass ronin warrior gangster. Guys like Glenn Johnson set the bar, that man is a straight up bad ass, will fight anyone anywhere. Froch too has fought away many times.

Many Americans are too ***** to go and fight abroad. They just use this America is where you need to be bull**** as an excuse.

He didnt go to Argentina to fight Baldmoir.

He didnt go to Uganda to fight Juuko

He didnt go to South Africa to fight Ndou

He didnt go to Mexico to fight Castillo.

Im sure if Froch came and fought in Vegas he'd make a lot of money from that too.

Ward has the financial backing of HBO and is making 7 figures too...and he's universally rated as one of the best fighters on Earth.

Tim Bradley when he embarrassed witter. Andre Dirrell when he beat and then was robbed against Carl Froch in Nottingham. Tony Thompson who is probably the best American Heavyweight when he destroyed Price.

Sorry but there is no home advantage in your country, unless you count robberies.

    completely agree with you
I have great respect for Glenn Johnson
More so than Floyd and ward because he had the balls to man up and go wherever
