Rigo at 5?? lmao P4P rankings are used to give you an idea what a fighter at one weight could do against a fighter at a different weight. As I see it the likes of PBF, JMM, Pac, Donnaire who have all fought at many weight divisions are the true P4P fighters. They have also fought many fights. I am not bashing your list, its pretty accurate. Martinez has not been defeated like willy says, for a while. but his opposition is awfull, Rigo has not fought enough as a Pro to deserve a ranking in the P4P, Bradley is undefeated but he got a HUGE gift against Pac and has fought at what? 2 weight divisions. Froch has fought SMW pretty much his whole career but has also fought the best win or lose. So Yes I have him in the top 10 right now, probably 8. As for Mares, who did he beat in the top 10 of the SBW before moving up to featherweight?? Vic Darchiniyan by SD. I also see you have NO space for Canelo. Why if Bradley, Rigo and Mares are there surely an undefeated Canelo should be.
Bradley has one of the best resumes in boxing. Pacquaio Alexander Peterson Holt Witter Abregu Vasquez Undefeated. Has shown an extremely varied skill set and taken on all styles. Clearly P4P.
Dude he beat Manny and on top of that Manny hasnt won a damn fight in almost 2 years,be happy he is even still top 10
Rigo should absolutely, most definitely be in the top 10. His one great win over Donaire is better than any one single win of Canelo's career. Canelo has one very good win over Trout and that's it. Guillermo Rigondeaux is one of the most talented men in the history of the sport. Am I saying that his talent alone puts him in the top ten? No. His great, dominant win over a guy who I had at #4 pound-for-pound warrants him a spot. He could have fought a list of cab drivers like Canelo did, but what does that really prove?
I think he could fit in. 1. Ward 2. Mayweather 3. Rigondeaux 4. Marquez 5. Pacquiao 6. Wlad 7. Donaire 8. Mares 9. Froch 10. Bradley
But on the flipside, it could be argued that someone like Donaire has fought across more weight classes than someone like Ward, but perhaps was never as good in any singe one. Assuming you agree with that argument, would you still rank Donaire as better P4P than Ward?
:nono Check the ring web shite. Broner is number 5 and there is no way in hell Froch could get anywhere near within 5 of Broner :bart Look at their resumes: Broner quality wins: DeMarco,...erm...erm... Losses: Ponce De Leon (shortly after he was KO'd in one by JuanMa Lopez) Froch Quality wins: Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Abraham, Johnson,Bute, Kessler Losses (not avenged): Ward (P4p number 2) If any of you think that Froch should be above Broner you need to log off and close your account because you don't know **** about boxing.
Rigondeaux and Donaire don't belong in the top 10 here's mine Mayweather Ward Bradley Marquez Pacman Hopkins Wlad Vitali Martinez Froch
