Anyone who brings speed and a chin might make it interesting. Khan need not apply:

I like this fight. I think money would have to come forward in this matchup.
    Make it happen.

Watching Khan get embarrassingly KOed and schooled is always hilarious/interesting.

You dont particularly need a chin for Floyd.

I agree with Berto. You dont need power for Floyd, you need great speed, combinations and stamina. You need to be unpredictable.

Khan has the speed and style to be a perfect match for Mayweather, he's also got youth.

    However......that chin....:-(

problem is Khan's chin. That is why Floyd would sign to fight him. Floyd needs a weakness in a fighter to fight him. That is sort of disappointing. Either he fights Guerrero who is not a top rated fighter. Certainly not an elite or close, or he wants to fight Khan who used to be top rated, but his chin is starting to be a big problem in all his fights.

I disagree with Berto. If speed was the end all, he wouldn't be so mediocre getting his ass kicked by Ortiz and Guerrero.

Floyd is one of the most speedy fighters today if not the speediest but more importantly he has the greatest timing in the sport. Opponents who offer nothing but speed are going to look like ass the moment they get timed

But thats the thing right there. I say Floyd's greatest asset is his eyes. To time people, you gota have sharp eyes. If you can put together combinations faster than Floyd can see, then you can hit him. All the combination punches Floyd has faced are really slow. And the fast fighers he has faced arent combination punchers. Judah's speed caused problems. Now make a judah who's faster with even faster combinations and faster legs, and you have Khan.

But maybe his chin will be a problem, Im not sure. Floyd's power has to be more than Julio Diaz, but Khan chin used to be better than it was in his last fight.

Why do people buy into this bull****. Speed is not going to bother Mayweather. I don't know why people don't listen to the guys that know Floyd best which is Roger and Mayweather Sr.

Roger Mayweather has said time and time again that, "you need a ****ing jab to bother Floyd Jr."

At the Guerrero fight Roger was quoted as saying, "if he can't hit Floyd with a jab he can't hit him with ****."

You need a good jab and to be able to adjust against Floyd and more importantly you need some ****ing defense.

People are always focused on what they can do against Floyd offensively. Every fight you hear guys on here and in the media saying what this fighter needs to do against Floyd. Speed this, combinations this, and power this. Nobody every talks about how the hell do you stop Floyd's offense. He is the most accurate fighter of this era with the best timing and punch placement. Out of every opponent he has ever faced he is the one who had the better OFFENSE. **** the dude even went to the body better than Cotto when they fought, he beat up Hatton on the inside and beat him at his own game. Stop Floyd's offense and you make it interesting.

It's why Oscar wasn't completely outclassed. His parrying skills was a pain for Floyd's low output potshotting. The parrying forced Floyd to work and think of different avenues to get his offense off.

Then in the Castillo fight Floyd had that injury and was unable to use his lead hand as much he would like.
