Froch-Kessler Rbr!

The fight was close apart from the first 3 rounds which Froch had easy. Although Kessler got the next 3 they were all closer rounds and then they traded rounds for the second half with Froch getting a majority of the second half. I was happy with Frochs workrate for once he usually throws too little and loads up this time he let them flow more and showed off his ridiculous fitness.

 

It was one of the few fights that actually lived up to the hype. A good honest scrap between two consummate professionals. Not the most technically brilliant fight that I've ever seen but for raw excitement, it was a *******. Both guys had their moments and it was fought well.
Boxing won as a sport.

And with that, I'm off to bed.

cant remember who said it last night but it was no masterclass , his better conditioning won the fight for him as well as getting the first 3 in the bag behind the jab


as for bellew I hope Adonis beats dawson just so I can see him spark this chav toffee

 

I think in the 4th Kessler caught Froch with a body shot. Might have broken his rib. After that Froch slowed right down.

 

Very entertaining fight. I picked Kessler to win but Froch deserved the verdict this time. Kessler is tough but looks to have gone back further than Froch. Andre Ward will beat Froch again. St George Groves is coming along very nicely and I fancy him against any Super Middleweight in the world apart from Andre Ward and Andre Dirrell.

I watched it in a pub with no commentary and thought it was quite clear for Froch tbh. Going watch it again when I get home later though sober. Are the Bellew and Groves fights worth watching?

 

Depnds how much time you have. Groces is 5 rounds. Average opponent but you can see how good a fighter Groves is now. Bellew worth watching if you wanna have an opinion for score debates on here. Most had Bellew winning.

 

Cheers. I am off work next week so I will watch Bellew during the week but will watch groves later. Really starting to like groves now, I believe he is coming on nicely. Hopefully he gets steilglits(sp) in September.

Well done frochy. Looked brutal watching it in the pub. My missus said I looked a rate ***** bobing and weaving on my own. Can't help it though in the midst of a fight. Boxing really is a ****in amazing sport.

 

I don't think it was the 4th but I remember that shot very clearly. It looked vicious. Beautiful punch.

 

Groves should stay the hell away from Froch
