Khan's footwork is sloppy. He wouldn't be in no position to put together combos

While I do not rate Khan AT ALL it is a style match up that suits him better than others. He ALWAYS does better against the boxers because they're sat waiting for him to come in he's so fast he can get in and out before they've even reacted.

He struggles with come forward bangers because his chin and his footwork suck!

Do I think he will beat Mayweather? No. He will give him a lot of problems though and it will be interesting to see if Mayweather can time such crazy speed or if he makes an adjustment and starts walking Khan back.

However Khan doesn't even ****ing deserve the fight, he needs to go and beat someone half decent before he starts shouting his mouth off about a Mayweather fight. Garcia, Matthysse and Alexander should all be in line before Khan.

    Not always

Crispy prepped him by boxing to set up that left hook that stole his soul

    Maidana failed to beat him

Fair points, especially the last point. But then which speedy fighter has floyd ever faced? I can only think of 1 out of 44: Judah. This one speedy fighter was able to stop Floyd's offence for 4 rounds. What if Judah had even faster handspeed and had unpredictable combinations? I think that makes it interesting.

Khan has bad footwork and doesn't move his head when throwing combinations.

Floyd always controls the range and has the better jab out of the two as well. Khan throws his combinations as if he was fighting in the Amateurs and mentally is on the level to even compete with Floyd.

We know Khan is quick but his defensive flaws would be exploited fully by Mayweather. I think if this fight happened and really can't see why it should as Khan hasn't earned a super fight, then we would be seeing the last of Amir Khan in a boxing ring. IMO Khan would be better seeking a domestic showdown with Kell Brook.

Watch it more carefully. The rounds Judah won were competitive. Judah got beat up in the third round. Floyd really got his offense going after the first round which he used to feel out.

Mayweather doesn't hit as hard as Garcia though and Garcia put everything into that punch while taking a barrage of punches himself. That's not Mayweather's style.

Maidana gave him as much problems as anyone, Khan certainly wasn't comfortable in that fight. Could easily have been KO'd.

Speed is tamed by timing and/or a jab.

Floyd's timing is ATG, and he got a better jab than Amir. There's a greater emphasis on the jab these days with his father back in the corner.

I agree and I think Mayweather wins but it's a lot more interesting than people who say Mayweather shatters that glass jaw in 2 rounds.

The hand speed is not what troubled Floyd. People need to understand that Judah and Floyd use to spar and knew each other very well. They played chess for a few rounds but the master took over. Also a fighter has to be there in order for you to land combinations. One of Floyd's biggest advantages is making adjustments in the ring. He makes adjustment constantly. If he is having trouble hitting you up top with a straight right, he goes low with it, he starts looping it and throwing uppercuts with it. Hell his jab changes from time to time. He was jabbing to loosen Robert up in their fight and then he started slicing his ass with it and throwing it different later on.

You are wrong. Floyd hits hard. There is a reason why guys aren't walking his so called non power ass down. Not only does he have some power but he has sharp, fast, accurate punches which make them even harder. Mosley felt that power and was damn near out of there.

Floyd hit's harder than people give him credit for but he doesn't hit as hard as Danny Garcia.

I agree with you; Judah made it competitive for 4 rounds. Not that he was dominating or anything, but winning very closely. But still, he did stop Floyd's offence for 4 rounds. I think it was because of his speed. The only other fighter to do it was Oscar, but I think that was more a matter of Floyd having to be cautious cause of Oscar's very serious power and boxing ability. I still think this shows that great speed and unpredictable combinations are a prime way to trouble Floyd. And if it is, then look no further than Khan.

Not to say he would win, but just to say he would make it a lot more interesting than Ortiz, Guerrero, and whoever else is on the horizon (Devon, Garcia, Mattyesse).
