I had him up by two rounds. But I don't score for someone throwing shots that don't land, and a lot of Froch's early rounds output was exactly that. I also gave credit to Kessler for his defence.

It was close, but Froch clearly won. He was backing Kessler up far more.

Then you've gone off the deep end if you think Carl took more than eight rounds I'm afraid. I didn't watch the fight live, I watched it this morning with HBO commentary rather than Sky.

They were giving Froch a lot of credit for throwing instead of landing. Workrate doesn't count much for me, and frequently Kessler was blocking and countering.

Of course, once you add on Froch's warrior points, he automatically gets three-four rounds...

A fair score. I don't score even rounds if I can avoid it. There's always a winner if you're really looking at it with the four criteria in mind.

I watched it this morning with no commentary, the 1st round i had Kessler winning was round 5,i had Froch winning 1,2 and 3 clearly, round 4 Kessler made some improvement(he had too) but i dont think he improved that much to win the round,i scored it even,Kessler barely blocked Frochs jab all night,he got off some good counters later, but only little bursts,he wasnt winning rounds, but mainly holding his own as you would expect from him.

Strangely even rds can give a more honest assessment but i know many disagree, If i gave the even rd to Kessler it would be 7-5 Froch

Swing rds 4 , 9 , 11 two of which i gave to kessler one even

Kessler took too long to get going and didn't let his hands fly.

Around 7-5 in favour of Froch is about right.

Not trying to be rude or disrespectful, but I am a bit shocked a that. Which rounds did you give to Kessler?

I had it 115-113 for Froch.
there was a handful of close rounds but just though Froch edged it. didn't look like Kessler even was shocked. Kessler - Froch 3 get it on!

    I had it 117-111 Froch..

Kessler just didn't do enough for me... There are 3 minutes in a round, you can't fight for 30 seconds of it & expect to be awarded it..

Froch was a clear clear winner...

    Anyone who thinks not DKSAB
