    What do you think?

I personally would like to see him do it. Not because he has to, or needs to prove anything to anyone. I just know that if I was Ward I'd like to get my hands on Froch again and give him another whooping. I also get the impression Carl is content with hiding from Ward by staying in the UK.

As a fan I'd also like to see Ward challenged. He's already proven he is better than Froch, why not relish the opportunity to be the only (or first) man to beat him in his backyard?

Disclaimer: Ward doesn't need to prove anything against Froch in my mind. If he decides not to face Carl in the UK I would not give him a hard time, I just think it would be badass from him to deliver Froch another beating in his backyard. I also think it would somewhat take away the criticism that Ward doesn't travel to fight. He has already won an Olympic gold medal, beating Froch in the UK would help.

I'd love to see him beat brittard in UK, but it's all up to him, he is not obligated to fight him again.

You notice that Eddie Hearn is not keen on a rematch with Ward in the post fight interview. He knows the result will be the same and worse for Froch.

Froch has proven himself worthy of a rematch and Ward should want to prove himself outside of comfy Oakland.

Ward wins a rematch, in London, 8-4.

It would do wonders to his offshore fan base and will contribute to cement his legacy. It may not be too apparent now, but in 20 years, a huge win in the UK against Froch will mean much more on his resume than any other guy at 168 right now.

A possible Chavez fight is only a matter of cash and that can wait a little more. Froch won't fight much longer and another solid W against him on the road would certainly enhance Ward's resume and merits.

Id like to see it, just to shut up the idiots on this board who will think fighting in England will make a difference.

Dont think Eddie Hearn is nearly as keen on it though

If he did and won, his respect level would rocket..

I dont understand why he doesnt push for it, its not like he hasnt already beaten and dominated Froch yet

    Yes of course.

Froch is the cash king at 168lb.

He will lose again on points most probably. .

But o/s jokeland with a handy ref froch might just send glass jaw ward on the canvas.

    Boone style.

***** street is in london and ward will be heading directly for it.

Froch could shake his "glass jaw" the first time. What makes you think he will when Ward has 2 good hands?

He could break both hands and outbox Froch.

Yes, he should. Ward beats him no matter what country they fight in, but fair is fair. Froch fights his ass off at home or abroad and has proved his willingness to fight anyone in their own backyard. Ward needs to step up.

He should, what other options does he really have right now?

Froch is the biggest fight out there for him.

I see the situation like this:

If Froch wants to avenge his defeat and Ward us willing to travel then by all means Ward an fight him in UK. It would be a great event. But there is no way Ward HAS to come over here. He beat Froch. If he decides he's got other fish to fry then that's up to him. And the only reason people say Froch has more options than Ward is because Ward held to a higher standard. Ward couldn't fight Groves right now, people would slate the fight. But apparently he's good enough for Froch.

In all seriousness since when does the loser of a fight dictate the terms of a rematch to the winner? Shouldn't the onus be on the loser to go out and do everything possible to make the match an get their win back?

Oscar tried these tactics with Tito and Floyd after losing to them and they both left the rematch at the table.
