I don't think anyone would pick against Ward no matter where the fight happens but he seems to want everything his own way and the way some things have gone have turned fans away.

Being the only guy not to travel during the super six.
The whole nonsense between him and Dirrel and the fight eventually not happening.
    Not fighting Bute.
Then last night complaining that he had to travel 5 hours to Atlantic city for the super 6 final.

By that criteria GGG against anyone at SMW would be a farce because "GGG hasnt beaten anyone at SMW"

Martinez against anyone at 168,likewise would be a farce...right?

Rigo against Mikey Garcia would be a ridiculous fight for Garcia, because as we all know Rigo has never done anything at 126.

I mean, no LHW should be seen dead fighting a nobody like Ward or Froch.. I mean what have either of them done at 175..right??

    Thats how it works?

Beating a bum in your own division is apparentkly better than beating a top class fighter from a division below you who is now moving up. I see.

Ward edged out a narrow UD over Froch in the USA and since then has been more inactive than Floyd Mayweather.
Froch is the man in the division right now, and Ward has to man up like Kessler did and fight Froch in his homeland.
Froch is correct, Ward has no options, he isn't remotely popular in his own country, he has fought once in the last 18 months, has no fight lined up, and is becoming more irrelevant by the day.

All I know is that Ward has easily handled those 2 "warriors" in the ring last night.

Hes fought the best in the division.

    Hes beaten them.

It wasn't a narrow UD in my books. But, although Ward is clearly the number one fighter in the division, for a number of reasons the momentum is with Froch right now. Ward's injuries mean Froch has beat two top 3 fighters in his last 3 fights, while Ward's done nothing of note and Froch is packing out arenas and putting on exciting fights.

Although he's already beaten him, beating Froch in England on the back of his last 3 fights will probably be his best win and career high pay day. Make the fight. I want to go see Andre fight!

Ward cleaned out the division? Hes beat 3 top 10 fighters, ducked Bute, got all buddy buddy with Dirrell and dodged that fight, then tried to fight drunk Pavlik. SMH :-(

If he's got so many options why did he and his trainer come all the way over to the UK practically begging at ringside for a rematch?

Groves or Cleverly would do VERY well over here. James DeGale's even a possibility if he stays busy. He could fight pretty much anyone and do decent money, Steiglitz, anyone.
