    Wlad has cleaned out HW.
    Froch is #2 SMW at the moment. Ward is clearly #1.

    There will always be up and comers which Pulev, Fury and Stiverne are at the moment. Wlad vs Povetkin is happening soon so that Wlad can beat yet another WBA "champ." His brother is just holding on to WBC belt which apparently cannot be unified with other titles so WBC title should not be factored in when talking about cleaning out a division.

    Lewis had a pretty good clean out ratio in terms of longevity.

    He fought and beat the #2 from his era(twice)
    He fought and beat the #2 from the next era
    He fought and beat most of the up and coming 'next big things' etc.


    That being said.. Lewis still did not clean house because of politics and bad luck.

    Bowe ducked him
    Wladimir got knocked the **** out against Sanders
    Foreman ducked him


    He himself had little interest against Byrd and Ruiz.

    If anyone deserves recognition its Froch, he's fought everyone. He's one of the overachievers and has even changed his style to improve. But he hasn't cleaned out his division yet. I think with Ward's Irish blood they can fight in Ireland.

    would you turn down $8 million to fight Audley Harrison? no, you wouldn't. it was just a money fight. it was pathetic, true, but we at least saw it for what it was. it's not like those kind of fights happen all the time. every country has fighters who do it every now and again.

    on a side note: i liked your work the other week on the Mayweather situation. you made a lot of sense in your posts.

    He hasn't cleaned it out, he has beat alot of the division though.

    Froch beating alot of the division makes Ward's victory over Froch look more impressive.
