Wladimir Klitschko v Earnie Shavers Who Wins?

The myth of Shavers's ability to stop top fighters is still going strong, I see.

 

He's gotta have something when iron chinned warriors such as Ali and Holmes say he hit them harder than anyone else. I wouldn't pick him to beat Wlad, but if he landed he had the power to take him out.

 

No he didn't. He had the power to knock him down, gas, and get clobbered, as happened in almost all his big fights.

Like I said, I don't think Shavers wins. But if Sanders and Brewster could turn the trick than so could Earnie. To think otherwise is to be purposefully obtuse.

Really? What made Sanders and Brewster "real" punchers and not Shavers? Because the stopped Wlad? Why aren't any fighters, historians or trainers rating their power over Shavers?
