It's equally easy for Ward to 'sit on his sofa' and say he'd have beaten Calzaghe. Calling out a guy who's been retired five years...Ward has to be trolling, right?

Would Joe even make super middle? I highly doubt it. He was struggling towards the end of his super middle reign.

Ward is a quality operator but he is becoming a very desperate man, all roads lead to the UK.

Only in Yankee doodle la la land is a guy in his twenties calling out a retired guy in his forties a G move.

And stop with the Hopkins was 42-43 **** he is now closer to 50 and still holding world titles

The Jones fight was a joke. However, Jones hadn't been retired for years when they fought. He WAS shot to **** though. Calzaghe caught a tonne of flak for the Hopkins fight at the time, but since then it's looked a better win, given Hopkins' impressive (for an old guy) run.

Ward is sounding desperate right now though, most likely because he knows he's earning nothing like as much as the guys he beat. SOG is butthurt.

 How am I being a hypocrite ok take Hopkins title away he is still fighting the top guys in his division in fact there is a solid argument for Hopkins in his forties as having better wins than Hopkins in his thirties.

Calzaghe is still retired and has been for some time Kostya Tszyu isn't far off Calzaghes age does that mean if a current top WW calls him out you would think that would be a legit fight to make ?

Why the **** should Calzaghe give Ward a ****ing payday..?
Ward is bringing nothing to the table to entice Joe out of retirement.
Ward has the personality of a wet mop and zero fan base :deal

    **** him... Let him rot.
