The diffrence being Ricky beat them all.
Anthony beat Watson who had previously got beat twice in title fights
    Lost and drew with Derry
Lost to Gary Sykes for English title
and his hardest fight to come

Again Craney the diffrence is Ricky will find a way to win because he's genuine world class,Anthony hasnt improved the way he once looked as though he might have IMO.
Bottom line is Joe is grasping at straws for a world titles hot I'd be more concerned with Gavin Rees if I were him.Even if Anthony were to win I don't think he will fight Ricky any time soon.

I'm not knocking Ricky Bill. I'm just saying Crolla has got every right as a confident fighter to fancy his chances, as has Gallagher. As have you and Ricky to.

    This is boxing.

Yeah fair enough he did win 14 on the spin and Crolla has only won 2 of his last 5 i get what your saying. You cant knock Gallagher for backing his fighter against your fighter what trainer wouldnt do that

There was a time when Billy hadn't either. All have to start somewhere. Don't hold that against him.

If Gallagher and Crolla didn't fancy their chances, then I'd be worried!

They've got to, just like Billy and Ricky have against whoever they fight, or whoever they're looking to fight in the future. It works both ways.

But my point is Joes slagging Ricky regarding is flaws,**** how did Murray get that face against Rios was it the fairies that hit him, even Anthonys face after his two fights with Derry.Ricky Burns has hardly looked as though he's been in a fight afterwards so don't talk about flaws.

I've been in the corner for 18 world title fights with Scott and Ricky 16 wins 1 loss 1 draw and hopefully more to come you seem to forget that Craney, so I think my fighter has every reason along with myself to be confident but for Joe to say what he did is a ****ing cheek to be honest,a sign of a desperate man maybe.

OK but if they did think they were in line for a fight with your Ricky, Joe gallagher would not say ricky burns does everything right Crolla has got virtually no chance we are only here for a pay day of course he isnt. He says that Ricky got flaws that Crolla can exploit and i think my fighter has got a decent chance to win this fight.Any trainer who says otherwise would not have many fighters and im sure not many promoters would like him either. As someone said earlier thats boxing

But what I'm saying is maybe he should LOOK A LITTLE CLOSER TO HOME when it come to fighters flaws.

I'm not forgetting anything Bill. I've already told you what I think about you as a trainer.....

    We're talking Crolla and Gallagher.

Billy they SHOULD think they can beat your man, and they SHOULD think they can expose the flaws they think they have found. If they don't, then why are they even in the sport? They're only doing what you yourself would do as a top trainer. Looking ahead and looking how top fighters can be beaten. But never overlooking whats on the plate.

They aint overlooking Rees, like you didn't overlook Gonzalez.

I don't know why you've gotten so worked up if I'm honest mate, they are just doing their job, the best thing you can do is focus on yours with Ricky after the Gonzalez fight, and if the fight is ever made between Ricky and Crolla, shut them up in the ring. :good

I don't blame Gallagher for trying to big up Crolla. I love crolla he's a superb fighter domestically but there is surely no chance of this fight happening unless Crollas form was to change seriously. Perhaps they are just trying to give Antony another carrot for such a tough fight but as things stand Ricky has proven himself another level to the very talented British mix- at least for now.

Neither do I to be honest. Crolla is a level below at the moment. Ricky will be looking upwards. At least he SHOULD be looking upwards.

It might happen if Crolla rises fast and gets himself in contention. But Ricky will probably have moved up before then....
